Spring exams, 2025





Stapleford Methodist Church is always a peaceful and stress-free venue for ABRSM exams and this session has been no exception. As always a nice piano from Clement Pianos of Nottingham in the exam room, which is actually the church itself.

Further good news is that the piano in the warm-up room downstairs has been replaced with a much better and newer (or even new?) Roland digital piano. It comes with a few luxury features such as a music stand that doesn't collapse under the weight of a sheet of A4 music. On top of this unexpected bonus, it has a much nicer touch and sounds better too.

Congratulations and well done to everyone taking exams this time. I always enjoy accompanying and even though I had no entries of my own at this venue this time, it was good to be back at Stapleford.
